Lt. Elizabeth Whiteside, a psychiatric outpatient at Walter Reed Army Medical Center who was waiting for the Army to decide whether to court-martial her for endangering another soldier and turning a gun on herself last year in Iraq, attempted to kill herself Monday evening. In so doing, the 25-year-old Army reservist joined a record number of soldiers who have committed or tried to commit suicide after serving in Iraq or Afghanistan.

Cook County Commissioner Larry Suffredin has made it no secret – he wants all gun owners out of Cook County. As far as Suffredin is concerned, anyone who owns a gun is the lowest form of scum on Earth. If you own a gun, Suffredin hates your guts and he’s going to do everything within his power to run you out of his county.

As you read this, Suffredin has 3 proposed ordinances before the Cook County Board. One would suspend your village’s home rule authority and place all power to regulate firearms in the hands of Larry Suffredin. The second would ban all gun shops in Cook County. The third would require you to register all your guns or turn them over to the police. Of course, tricky wording in the ordinance would make it impossible for most county residents to comply. This ordinance would also ban ownership of all handguns and most rifles and shotguns

The message is clear – you can either be a gun owner or be a Cook County resident, but you can’t be both.

This enemy of our Constitution is now running for Cook County State’s Attorney. His plan is to use the power of that office to, in his words, employ “creative” measures against gun owners. To borrow a phrase from his pal Fr. Pfleger, if you own a gun, Larry Suffredin plans to “snuff you out.” Any gun owner who votes for Larry Suffredin is nuts.

Concealed Carry of Guns

Founder of the think tank Good For The Country, Inc., John Longenecker presented the case for concealed carry of handguns in the United States. If a person is in a situation such as a school or mall shooting, there is a period of time (at least four minutes) before help can arrive– and they are their own first line of defense, he stated. Many crimes are de-escalated by armed citizens, without a gun even having to be fired, he added.

This man is a Nazi and hates your COnstitutional rights.  He wants to ban guns in Cook County Illinois and the world if he could.  Dont let him get away with it. Email, Call, and stop by his office and let him and his staff know that Socialist/Fascist people have no business in public service positions and that his anti gun legislation is unconstitutional and he can not do it and that is he tries he will be outed out of office by the real bosses the people.  Contact him and and be a royal pain in tyhe ass top him because it is our first amendment right to do so.
